An endurance athlete will run round Preston Park Velodrome for 24 hours barefoot.

An endurance athlete will run round Preston Park Velodrome for 24 hours barefoot to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Joe Addison has been raising money for the charity since his father Roy – also a supporter of Macmillan - died from cancer in 2010. His latest effort will take place on

September 6 and 7 – starting at 1pm on the 6th. He hopes to run four marathons round the 579 metre circular track.
