Follow these top tips to help boost your online sales and enquiries:

1. Create and implement a digital marketing strategy

Creating a digital marketing strategy helps you to clarify who your audience segments are, as well as how to target them and what objectives you should be aiming for. Setting yourself regular, measurable goals will help you to judge which strategies are working and which ones aren’t.

2. Use a suitable CMS

Once you know what your objectives are you can then make the necessary changes needed to your website to fulfil your objectives; this could be as simple as adding a video or a blog etc. To do so, you need to have a Content Management System (CMS) that is suited to your needs. Your CMS needs to be secure and easy to use and update.

3. Ensure your website is responsive

Having a responsive website enables you to publish content on social media and send out e-shots that link back to your site without the worry of it not displaying correctly on a mobile device. As new devices are continually being developed, it’s worth regularly testing the responsiveness of your website using Google’s ‘Mobile-Friendly Test’.

Responsive websites are also SEO friendly, so if your website is not responsive but your competitor’s website is, Google is likely to prioritise their website over yours.

4.Make sure your website is easy to navigate

Your links and Call To Actions (CTAs) need to be clearly visible as visitors scan sites to find the content they want. Upload your website to UsabilityHub’s fivesecondtest.com to see what visitors think of your website.
