A '˜creative co-working' company is expanding its reach to Hove, with a new hub close to the railway station.

Freedom Works first opened an office in Worthing in September last year, and it is now set to launch a new creative hub at Hove Business Centre, Fonthill Road.

The serviced offices will offer 11 private offices and 30 hot desks to small businesses and the local co-working community, with space for networking events, a kitchen area, bike storage and an open-plan workspace.

Jon Trigg, Freedom Works founder, said one of the main attractions and selling-points of the new hub is its proximity to Hove station.

Statistics show that in the south east, 33 per cent of workers commute by train - whereas the national average is 29 per cent.

He said: “That’s why one of our aims is to keep home grown talent at home.

“By having the space next to the station, we believe this offers an option to those not wishing to head up to London for the day.

“A core market for us are the commuters fed up of having to get on a train or those faced with delays and cancellations.

“Therefore, the Hove station co-working space offers flexibility where stranded or distressed commuters can simply work from Hove for £15 a day if they miss the train. The Creative Hub is perfectly positioned to encourage and help develop local micro businesses, entrepreneurs and establishing SMEs.”
