Concern for missing Hove man

Police are ‘increasingly concerned’ for a man from Hove, who was seen walking away from his home yesterday morning (December 21).

David Chapman, 69, was last seen at his home in Sackville Road at 6.45am. He was seen walking away from the beach towards Hove Street.

Mr Chapman is white, six-foot, with thin receding grey hair, he has stubble and wears glasses. He was last seen wearing a tan corduroy jacket, dark blue jeans, blue shirt with light dots and tan canvas shoes.

Inspector Dave Robinson said: “We are very anxious to check David’s welfare and his health. He has left personal belongings in his property but we believe he may still be in the Hove area.”
