CCTV released after elderly woman's handbag stolen in Hove
Police have released a CCTV image of a woman they wish to speak to after a 95-year-old woman's handbag was stolen while she was shopping in Hove.
Sussex Police said the victim was shopping at the Co-operative store in Blatchington Road, Hove, between 1pm and 1.15pm on Friday, August 11, when her white leather handbag was taken from her shopping basket.
The handbag had personal items and cash inside.
The suspect is described as a black woman, in her late 30s to early 40s and with black tied back hair. She was wearing an African-style shawl in a bright green, red, yellow and white pattern and was carrying a dark handbag, police said.
