Brighton and Hove Buses has painted dogs into the windows of one of its bendy buses to let passengers know their pet pooches are welcome on board.

The bus has been given the new vinyl design with different breeds of dog – illustrated by local artist Mike Dicks – sitting in the window seat.

A couple of doggy outlines have been left blank for customers to send in pictures of their pet pooches as part of a competition to win an illustration of their dog to fill the spaces.

The company said dogs are welcome for free on Brighton and Hove buses including assistance dogs with just a few doggy dos and don’ts to abide by.
