Sources in Spain, where the Albion are currently on a training camp, suggest the Argentine striker has said his goodbyes to teammates earlier this evening, before jumping in a taxi to the airport to fly home for talks.

The club has yet to confirm the rumours, but it looks increasingly likely that the Albion’s talisman will join Leicester City in a deal that could be worth as much as £8 million.

Earlier today (Thursday), Brighton were linked with a move for Barnsley striker Chris O’Grady.
