According to our menu, it's our version of a milkshake.
What's a Shakeroono? According to our menu, it's our version of a milkshake. According to our patrons, that's not descriptive enough.
We'll let you in on a little secret...We coffee shop people all use the same core products, invent names plucked from obscurity that sound exotic but are utterly meaningless, charge you varying amounts for the same item, and then mock you when you can't pronounce our made up word. Frappuccino, anyone?
Unsurprisingly, Starbucks trademarked the frappuccino, but they didn't actually invent it. They bought out the company who coined the name and thus bought the sole rights to use the name - if you can't beat them, buy them.
For as long as we all use equally-ridiculous names, the market has been thrown wide open for us all to have a go. The path has been paved for frappés, fraps and, since 2011, The Shakeroono.
Our version of a milkshake is the same as everybody else's version of a milkshake save two factors. Firstly, we use freshly-brewed coffee from our machine. Secondly, it's got a brilliant name. The Shakeroono is not trademarked. But, seriously, don't even think about it.
