Tony, a former Sky Television executive and president of Anderida Writers, said: “It’s wonderful to get such a positive reaction.

Stitch Up!, published by SW Communications, follows Tony’s first crime thriller Triple Tease. The book asks readers if Denton Kerscher is a double killer or cursed by bad luck after the murders of both his former girlfriends.

“Detective Chief Inspector Harvey Livermore and his Major Crime Team are convinced Kerscher is the murderer despite the fact he is found not guilty of the first offence. Following the second murder, other suspects emerge, including a lecherous fashion house owner, a besotted estate agent, a ‘Walter Mitty’ hospital porter and an egotistical stand-up comedian.

“The pressure is still on Kerscher, however, as he is accused of sexually assaulting his new neighbour, busty Barbie Dickinson, who later claims she has been preyed upon by a voyeur.

“As if Livermore has not got enough on his plate with a demanding wife and fussy senior officer, he is targeted by a former lag hell bent on revenge.

“Stitch Up! follows my first crime thriller Triple Tease. Readers of Triple Tease loved compassionate copper DSI Harvey Livermore and his Major Crime Team so much that they asked me to write a follow-up. Stitch Up! provides a whole lot of new colourful characters and suspects.

“It has taken me almost two years to write Stitch Up! During this time I spent an enormous amount of time picking the brain of a former Met Police officer to get the police procedures correct. I am also grateful to another former police officer and author for their suggestions and edits.

“Stitch Up! – Killer or Victim? is a sequel and is again set in Eastbourne, Bexhill, Hastings and Brighton. There could be a third book in the series.

“My wife and fellow author Heather Flood and I write books in various genres."

“My previous crime thriller, Triple Tease tells how glamorous Katrina Merton tries to make amends for shooting a rapist by acting as bait in a honeytrap to catch a serial killer.

“I have also written a fantasy adventure called Secret Potion, which has become a bestseller in its category and acclaimed as ideal for Harry Potter fans.

“My celebrity book My Life With The Stars – Sizzling Secrets Spilled!, which features anecdotes and revelations about Eric Morecambe, Elvis Presley, Joan Collins, George Best, Muhammad Ali, Kylie Minogue and a host of other big names, soared to No. 1 bestseller in its’ Amazon category. As a former Fleet Street journalist and Controller of Information at Sky Television, I met, interviewed and wrote about a lot of big name personalities. A publisher asked me to write about them – warts and all – in the celebrity book My Life With The Stars. It was so successful that a second edition, with nine extra chapters, has been published called My Life With The Stars – Sizzling Secrets Spilled!

“My wife Heather’s books have also enjoyed great success. Her latest, Purple Mist – an out-of-this-world adventure – also became a No 1 bestseller.”
