Tuesday, April 13: Meet at 10am in East Dean village car park - circular - East Dean - west of Eastbourne - a chance to visit Beachy Head Countryside Centre. Picnic lunch. 8 miles.

Saturday, April 10: Meet at 10am in Half Moon car park, Warninglid (TQ 250260) - circular walk through woods and farmland along the High Weald Landscape Trail to Slaugham Church. Good views, free, just turn up. No dogs. 4 miles.

Monday, April 12: Meet at 10am at West Chiltington Village Hall (TQ 083179) - circular around village, may see a church or two and pass through nursery land, with some interesting views. Mostly flat, some stiles. Free, just turn up. 5 miles.

Wednesday, April 14: Meet at 6.30pm at the Franklands Arms, Washington (TQ 123129) - circular walk over difficult terrain at a good pace for the more experienced walker. Some hills and stiles. Free, just turn up. No dogs. 6 to 7 miles.

Friday, April 16: Meet at 10am in the lay-by opposite The Blue Ship, The Haven, near Five Oaks (TQ 083305) - flat circular walk (some stiles) taking in the meadows and woodlands of the Low Weald. No dogs. 5 miles.
