NHS Retirement Fellowship Hastings and District Branch

THE local group of the National Retirement Fellowship met at The Medical Centre, Bexhill Hospital, on Monday.

The chairman and committee welcomed members and friends to a social afternoon with tea and biscuits, a free lending library and an exciting raffle.

The speaker for November will be Mr Julian Porter , the Bexhill Museum curator who spoke about town history and brought us up to date with changes taking place and refurbishment of the museum. Fuller report coming soon.

Many thanks to David and Hazel Langworthy at the October meeting for their excellent illustrated talk with lots of memorabilia, on the "Tour de France Cycle Race" which was very much enjoyed by members and proved to be a pleasant and friendly afternoon.
