Visit to Battle by the Hanover Choir
The Hanover Choir is coming to St Marys Church, Battle, to perform a free concert on Saturday September 5.
The choir will present a programme of French music, including the Requiem by Gabriel Fauré and music by Morten Lauridsen and Charles Gounod.
The Hanover Choir is a chamber choir of around 30 singers based in the City of London who perform a wide variety of sacred and secular works: they will be conducted by Huw Morgan and accompanied by Nick Pope. The concert starts at 6.30pm and will be free admission with a retiring collection for the work of the church.
