the work of a future Digital Archaeologist '“ a semi-fictional group of individuals, dedicated to the idea of preserving and developing digital culture

and knowledge for future generations.

Improving Reality

Improving Reality is a one-day conference that brings together an international community of artists, thinkers and makers

to share and experience groundbreaking art and ideas of the present. This year's theme, Visibility is a Trap, is a visceral response to the tension between the tendency to share our lives in public, and our desire and right for more privacy.

Beyond the Bright Black Edge of Nowhere

Venue: The Old Market

Beyond the Bright Black Edge of Nowhere tells the story of one of America's most bizarre mass disappearances. Circa69 tell the story through cut ups of 1950s B-movies, promotional films and commercials with

a live electronic score, live classical instruments and eight monologues.

Brighton Mini Maker Faire

Venue: Brighton Dome Corn Exchange

The 2014 Brighton Mini Maker Faire promises to be bigger and better than ever with more than 70 makers and workshops and close to 4,000 visitors expected to attend. Antweight combat robots, a walking skeleton,

DIY portable sound systems, underwater vehicles, 3D chocolate printing, live-action Pac Man, toy hacking and a homemade electric car are just some of the highlights in store for visitors.

Laser Light Synths

Become a musician for one night with Laser Light Synths

that you control! Local artist Seb Lee-Delisle gives you the chance to become a musician using bespoke touch-activated musical instruments filled with hundreds of high power LED lights. As you play, the sounds trigger a laser light spectacle, running up the columns of the Unitarian Church.
