Gatwick Airport gears up for summer getaways

Gatwick Airport is getting ready for more holiday bookings after the Government agreed to open air corridors to a number of countries.

It means that holidaymakers will be able to return home without having to undergo a 14-day quarantine period.

But as you queue for your flight, here’s a reminder of what the airport looked like as it got ready to reopen its North Terminal earlier this month.

The airport put in a number of new measures to observe social distancing and protect customers and staff.
