The Post Office is planning to relocate from 5 Woodland Parade to Woodland Newsagents at 5 Woodland Parade.

It will be known as Woodland Parade Post Office when it opens in its new location on Thursday, May 2.

The Post Office said: "The existing Postmaster for Goldstone Road Post Office has identified an opportunity to move this branch into nearby alternative premises that they own to continue to offer Post Office services to the local community.

"Post Office services would be provided from a low-screened, open-plan, modern serving point that is part of the retail counter."

The current Post Office at 7 Woodland Parade, Hove, will close on Tuesday April 23 at 7pm and the new-look Post Office will open on Thursday, May 2 at 9am.

During the relocation alternative Post Offices include: Nevill Road Post Office, 188 - 190 Nevill Road, Hove; Eldred Avenue Post Office, Eldred Avenue, Brighton; and Amherst Crescent Post Office, 268 Old Shoreham Road, Hove.
