Help young creatives develop to careers in the digital industries
The Viral 2019 campaign launched on March 13 and runs until April 3, with the aim of raising £15,000.
It will see 15 young people aged between 16 and 25 take part in six months of weekly training and production sessions and workshops covering music, film, photography and design.

The idea is to help young people who want to work in the creative and digital industries, but who don’t have the opportunities, facilities and connections they need.
At the end of 2018 Lighthouse completed a successful first year of the project, and is now crowdfunding to make Viral 2019 happen for a new group of young people in the city.
The money raised through the campaign is the final amount needed, and will be added to funds secured from the Esmée Fairbairn Foundations, local businesses, and The Chalk Cliff Trust, which provides grants to charities in Sussex.
