“In these difficult times however it is important that we look out for, and look after the most vulnerable members of our wider community.

“I know that food and other household items have been in short supply however, in the spirit of kindness and looking out for others, I’m asking that if you are able to donate items we will be putting together small packages to help vulnerable members of our community, at a time of need.”

Pupils at the school will also write cards with messages of support to include with the packages and collections will continue throughout next week.

“The supplies you have provided will be integral to helping us meet the needs of those who are at risk of COVID-19.

“As a charity we are doing everything we can to provide emotional and practical support, but thanks to your practical help we are already making great steps to be able to meet the growing need.
