Third youth climate march takes place in Brighton

Young protesters took to the streets for the third time this year to demonstrate against climate change.

The Youth Strike 4 Climate march today (April 12) saw children block North Street in protest over climate change.

Hundreds of protesters turned out for the event, taking placing during the Easter holidays
They met outside Churchill Square Shopping Centre before marching down North Street
Protesters blocked North Street in Brighton, which was named one of the most polluted streets in the country by Friends of the Earth
Protesters were wearing face masks and waving placards to protest against toxic air
It was the third climate march in Brighton by students so far this year
The protesters are calling on the Government to act on climate change
