Helen Brooks [BA (Hons), Dip.Hyp SQHP] has launched an online therapy programme ‘Transform Your IBS With The Tummy Whisperer’.

With a mission to 'transform the world one tummy at a time', senior clinical hypnotherapist Helen has designed an eight-week, online, Zoom-based programme using gut-directed hypnotherapy, psychology and wellness coaching.

The ‘Transform Your IBS’ programme aims to help IBS sufferers who haven’t responded well to medically-advised dietary changes or medication.

More than 35 years’ worth of research and data has been collected from IBS experts around the world confirming that by changing the way the gut-brain axis communicates, sufferers can alter the way the gut functions, in turn reducing the symptoms of IBS.

“Many people are completely unaware of this huge body of research when it comes to using hypnotherapy to combat IBS,” said Helen. “There is a constant cycle of pain, bloating, constipation and diarrhoea that sufferers have to deal with. The evidence-based methods I use in The Tummy Whisperer programme provide a way to control and reduce symptoms and improve quality of life. It gives people real power to take control of their symptoms through their subconscious mind and alter their digestive function.”

Helen has been a senior clinical hypnotherapist with 17 years’ hypnotherapy experience and a degree in Applied Psychology. She has worked extensively in the therapeutic environment she made the decision to turn the focus of her work to individuals suffering from IBS, her aim, to change the way people access effective treatment and to provide people with freedom from the weight of this chronic condition.
