Another top comic joins the bill for Saturday's Live at Brighton Dome

TV regular and Brighton-based comic Joe Wilkinson is the latest act added to an already hulking great line up for Live at Brighton Dome on Saturday (June 16).

He joins a bevy of top performers, Sofie Hagen, Reginald D Hunter, David O’Doherty and Jen Brister, for the second hosting of this new comedy night.

The award-winning Wilkinson is a popular comedian and a familar face on 8 Out of 10 Cats (Channel 4) and its spin-offs: Cats does Countdown and Cats does Deal or No Deal. He has also acted in a number of comedy series including Him and Her, Ricky Gervais’s Derek, and Still Open All Hours.

He’s joined at the Dome by Irish stand up and writer David O’Doherty. the self-proclaimed Lidl Enya and broken Bublé, promises talking and some songs played on a stupid keyboard from 1986.

Reginald D. Hunter has garnered a popular fanbase during the 15 years in which he has lived in the UK. His recent appearances on television have included 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown and Reginald D Hunter’s Songs Of The South

London-based Dane Sofie Hagen is a former winner of Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer 2015, and the 2014 Chortle Awards Best Newcomer

As seen on BBC2/Netflix’s Live at the BBC and as heard on her hugely successful Made of Human podcast, and the Guilty Feminist podcast.

Jen Brister is a critically acclaimed stand up, writer and actor. She is a regular performer on the UK and international comedy circuits and has been a regular contributor to magazines and online sites including Diva, g3, Standard Issue and The Huffington Post.

Doors open at 6.45pm for a 7.30pm start.
