Synthetix are for real!

The spirit and sounds of the punk and new wave eras will be heard at one Chronicle Country pub this weekend.

The Synthetix will be paying tribute to The Buzzcocks, The Jam and acts of a similar ilk at The Golden Lion in Clifton on Saturday (February 9).

Classic rock tracks from both sides of the Atlantic will be heard at The Plough in Langford, also on Saturday.

Four-piece Get Carter were formed two years ago and pay homage to the likes of Ocean Colour Scene, Oasis and Paul Weller.

Decade are a 1980s covers act and they will be performing at Potton and District Club on the same night.

The band play renditions of favourites from a veritable A to Z of 1980s legends, including Duran Duran and Nick Kershaw.

Veteran rockers Juke will be on the bill at The White Hart Hotel in Shefford on Friday (February 8) meanwhile.

The four-piece act promise to get feet tapping and pull no punches with their sets.

Stotfold Conservative Club will be the venue to go to enjoy a performance by White Tiger on Friday.

The band have been performing together for more than two years now and play classics from the 1970s through to the present day.
