These are the 12 Michelin Guide-recommended restaurants in Brighton and Hove

The Michelin Guide is widely considered the gastronomic bible of where to eat out – and there are a number of Brighton and Hove restaurants recommended by the 2019 edition of the famous guidebook.

These establishments have all been recommended by the judges in the 2020 edition of the guidebook, which is published in October. Read more: Brighton’s top 20 restaurants - as voted for by ‘local experts’

The Guide says: "This compact neighbourhood restaurant is a hit with the locals. Ask to sit in one of the booths in the bay window then choose how many courses youd like from the set menu  go for the 9 course option at dinner. Cooking captures flavours to the full."
