1066 Specials charity barn dance

THE 1066 SPECIALS charity held a barn dance at the Bexhill Athletic club on Saturday night, and raised £450.

Formed in 2003, the 1066 Specials gives children and adults with special needs or disabilities, the opportunity to play football and receive expert coaching.

The club's fund-raising secretary Alison Elphick said the barn dance was "fantastic throughout" and thanked the Athletic club for allowing them to use the hall for the event and to Pat and Colin King who generously provided the music and dance instructions free of charge.
