A27 crash at Poling overturns two cars

TWO cars have overturned on the A27 at Poling.

Fire crews were called to the westbound carriageway of Arundel Road, outside Southdown Mushrooms Ltd, at about 11.30am this morning (Monday, August 3).

A spokeswoman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said that both cars had rolled and crews from Arundel, East Preston and Worthing were busy cutting two women, the drivers of each car, free from the wreckage, though it was not yet clear whether they had been injured.

PC Jackie Shears, of Littlehampton police, added that the road had not been closed, but that traffic was moving slowly using just the nearside lane.
