FILM EVENING: Following the successful farming film evening last March, Ian Everest will present a second, new slide show and talk at Selmeston Village Hall, Thursday, February 4 at 7pm, this time about early 20th century farming in his part of East Sussex. This fascinating story shows the use of oxen, horses and steam power on local Sussex farms: also the arrival of the first tractors, all illustrated with great slides and Ian's engaging commentary. Last year's film evening was enjoyed immensely by the many who attended, so much so, we have organised this new slide show for all who wish to learn more about 20th century farming in parts of East Sussex. Entry free.
