PARISH COUNCIL: The next full Arlington Parish Council meeting will take place on Thursday starting at 7.30pm in Arlington Village Hall.

LITTER PICK: On Saturday, March 19, between 10am and noon, Arlington volunteers will be clearing litter from The Street, Wilbees Road and Caneheath. The plan is to meet at the Arlington Village Hall at 10am to be allocated a stretch of lane to be litter picked. High-vis tabards, bin bags and plastic gloves will be provided. CONCERT: On Saturday, March 19, starting at 12.30pm at Berwick Church, the South Downs Youth Orchestra will be giving a concert. Please come along to support them and hear some very fine music being played. There will be a collection after the concert in aid of church funds.

BERWICK PARISH COUNCIL: The next full Berwick Parish Council meeting will take place on Tuesday March 29 starting at 7pm in Berwick Village Hall. There will be two meetings that night starting with the full council meeting and ending with the annual Berwick Parish Meeting. Refreshments will be served on the night and an agenda will be issued nearer the time on the Parish website at: http://berwickparishcouncil.org/ Members of the public and the press are welcome to attend both meetings.

WATER TREATMENT WORKS: On Saturday, April 16 from 10am, South East Water are offering a two hour tour where their team of water experts will show you the scenes behind your local water treatment works and how your drinking water is stored, treated and supplied to your home. Also available will be tips on how to use water wisely and reduce your bills.

Entry is strictly by ticket only and places are subject to confirmation. Visit southeastwater.co.uk/opendays to book or telephone 01732 375410 between 9am and 5pm weekdays. Conditions apply. ID will be required. As this is a working water treatment facility access is not suitable for people with impaired mobility or children under the age of 14 years.
