ASDAN students show off art work

Talented ASDAN students exhibited at their artwork at an exhibition attended by Bexhill Mayor Jimmy Carroll.

The ASDAN course is specifically for adults who deal with various challenges on a daily basis and involve such tasks as managing money, shopping, and cooking.

The aim is to help them achieve a greater level of enjoyment and independence in their day to day lives.

Student Tom Smith exhibited his Andy Warhol inspired self portrait after driving all the way down from his new home in Hertfordshire.

Dan Randall proudly showed off his work which was partly influenced by the Richard Bach book 'Jonathan Livingston Seagull'.

David Staddard's main piece was a Lotus sports car which he painted as his father was a Lotus Formula 1 mechanic back in the 1950's.

Skills for Life Manager Jane Jenner said "It was fantastic that the students had the chance to show off their hard work. I'm glad so many people came along to show their support"
