Ashburnham Chapel are celebrating Rev Brian Bowyers’ 50th anniversary in ministry.

An afternoon tea party on July 21, 5pm will be followed by a Communion Service lead by Brian himself. Many congratulations Brian.

The Ashburnham and Penhurst Gardening Club are meeting on July 22 with a visit to a member’s garden. The August meeting will be back at Ashburnham Church Hall on August 27, 7.30pm where they will be discussing summer pruning. For further information, please contact Rhod Jones on 892689.

The East Sussex County Council Mobile Library service will next be in Ashburnham (by the chapel) on Thursday August 1, 15 & 29, 9.50am - 10.10am.

The next coffee morning is on Monday August 5 and 19 in the Church Hall, Ashburnham Place 10:30am - 12pm. You are welcome to go along for a good friendly chat. For further information, please contact Tina on 01424 843728.

The annual flower show will take place on August 10 at the Ashburnham Sports Field, 2pm. You are invited to see all the entries, enjoy some refreshments and browse the stalls.
