Bexhill death crash - renewed police appeal for witnesses

POLICE investigating the crash in which 75 year-old Bexhill pensioner Lionel Willis died have issued an renewed appeal for witnesses to come forward.

They are particularly keen to speak to the drivers of several vehicles which were seen immediately behind Mr Willis' Renault Clio before before it left the A159 trunk road at the top of Barnhorn Hill at about 1.25pm on November 24.

They say that, to date, none of these drivers has come forward.

The silver Clio hit a tree. Mr Willis was found to be dead at the scene.
