As part of a move to publicise its work and to attract new members, the league has adopted a logo. The image of Bexhill Hospital will in future be featured on the league's letterhead and on the lapel stickers given to supporters at collection days.

As the committee prepares for the charity's annual "shop window" - the Hospital Garden Party on the afternoon of Saturday, June 16 - the committee has also approved use of the logo on hospital equipment donated by the league.

The move is intended as a permanent reminder of the work the charity undertakes for the benefit of Bexhill patients.

This will include 80,300 of new equipment for the renal dialysis unit at Bexhill Hospital. Treatment at the unit saves local kidney patients the three-times-a-week journey to Brighton for their blood to be cleansed.
