New housing officer: Amicus Housing just cannot write letters sometimes. They now say that the new housing officer will be Sophie O’Sullivan who will be happy to deal with any tenancy issues or queries. Levetts Lane looks to October 31 or December 8 before they can meet Sophie. It took many years to train Marie Lapierre, the recent housing officer, and now we have to train Sophie about Levetts Lane. Every estate is different and Levetts Lane is very different.

Bike ride: Kirsty, the young granddaughter of Phillis Landels of Levetts lane took part in the London to Brighton bike ride, with her friends. She rode for Macmillan Cancer Relief and made £460 for them.

Fly-tipping: If you see some fly tipping in Bodiam or if you have any information about people fly-tipping call the police. I am sure the people of Bodiam would not like to see fly-tipping in one of the best village in East Sussex.

PCSO: Our local PCSO Demi has yet one more award for resuscitation. A man in St Mary Magdalene in St Leonards. Congratulations Demi.

Fireworks night: The best fireworks night in East Sussex takes place in the Castle Inn, Bodiam, garden on November 14 at 6.30pm
