IT was good to read the Parish News this month with a report of St Giles Church. It would be good to read about our Church of England Primary School, but we will not see that in the report. The Bishop of Chichester had a flying visitation to St Giles and seemed to be satisfied that Gordon our vicar was still up to the mark, and also he chairman of the parish council, who had a very good meeting with Martin, the bishop.

The village cricket club is away to Pett on June 15, with a start of 2.30pm.

The next service at St Giles is Holy Communion on June 15 at 11.15am and the Rev Graham Attfield will take the service.

I am sure many of us in Levetts Lane would like to say a big thank you to Geoffrey Barden who put in a lot of hard work the other Sunday. Geoffrey puts in a lot of work to help people, but do people do a lot to help him?
