Bodiam village voice

A SMALL steering group has been formed to look at setting up a community friends scheme in Bodiam if there is interest. Survey forms will be delivered to doors.

The deadline for responses is June 27. Collection boxes at the Castle Inn and Bodiam CE Primary School for completed survey forms.

The village cricket club that I have a fixture card for does say TBC for June 24, but do please phone Karen who will have the information on 01424 436523.

The St Giles Flower Festival and Jubilee Plant Sale will soon be with us on July 14/15, 10am-4.30pm both days. Entrance is free and donations are welcome. All in aid of church funds. Anyone who would like to help, the event takes place on June 30, 10.30am for more information call Liz Moore on 01580 752052.

The primary school PTA meets today (June 22) in the primary school at 2.15pm. The full governing body meeting on June 28, 5.30pm at the school and the sports day at the recreation ground on July 2, 1.30pm. Reserve Day 9.30am.

Marie Lapierre, housing officer for Amicus Horizon, will do her neighbourhood inspection of Levetts Lane on June 26, 12.30pm. Meet at the playground. If anyone would like to go around with Marie, please let her know so that she knows what to look for on the estate.
