Bognor man in court over indecent images

Martin Cleverly, 45, of Glamis Street, appeared at Chichester Magistrates Court on Monday, January 16 charged with 26 offences.

Five allege the making of indecent images of children, and 11 allege the distribution of such images.

Three allege unlawful sexual activity with a boy aged 14 in Bognor in 2009 and 2010, and a further seven allege indecent assaults on two boys then aged under 14 in the Crowborough, East Sussex, area between 1993 and 1995.

His case was committed to Chichester Crown Court for a plea and case management hearing on 26 April. Cleverly is now on court bail.
