A strike timetable, put forward by Southern Railway today (Tuesday), shows there will be no train services stopping at Uckfield, Buxted, Crowborough, Eridge, Ashhurst or Edenbridge stations between Monday August 8 and Friday August 12.

Plumpton and Cooksbridge stations will also be closed throughout the five days with direct services between Lewes and Wivelsfield cancelled by the action.

Seaford, Bishopstone, Newhaven Harbour, Newhaven Town and Southease stations will also be closed. There will be a replacement bus running between Lewes and Seaford to replace the cancelled service.

The remaining services – running between Eastbourne, Lewes and Brighton – are expected to be significantly reduced.

Passengers on all the above services are eligible for strike compensation.
