Quiz - Tonight is the monthly quiz night at the Pavilion in Burwash common. Teams of six are invited to take part. The fun begins at 8pm. All entry money is returned as prize money. The licensed bar will be open. To enter a team please call Karol Richardson on 01435 883813.

Show - Tomorrow the Burwash Horticultural Society will be staging their Summer Rose, Sweet Pea and delphinium show, with classes in Art, Craft and junior classes. There will also be a sales table. It is being held in the Sports Pavilion in Swan meadow Burwash. Entries can be taken along between 9am and 11am. Schedules are available from the Burwash Newsagents and entries can be handed in on the day. Children’s classes are for up to 7, and 8 to 11years. The show will be open to visitors from 2.15pm until 4pm. Raffle, tea & biscuits will be available. Good luck to all the entrants.

Sale - Once you have left your entries at the pavilion, why not pop across the road to the Table Top sale at Old Rectory Court. The sale begins at 11am. Donations of at least £1 to cover refreshments. All proceeds from the sale will be split between the upkeep of the Village Hall and The Old Wrecks Social Club.

Walk - The next monthly Parish footpath walk will take place on Monday morning. Those wishing to join in should be at the Bear car park ready for 9am departure. The walks are lead by Roger Cloke and he will take you over the network of public footpaths enuring they continue to be used and in good repair for us all to enjoy. The walks usually end in time for lunch.

Quiz - There will be another general knowledge quiz at The Wheel Inn on Wednesday evening from 8pm. Teams of six are welcome to take part. To find out more please call the Wheel on 01435 882758.
