Candidates apologise as election leaflets are called into question

EIGHT candidates in Arundel Town Council's elections issued a joint apology after 'technically' breaching the Representation of the People Act.

The candidates, who included the sitting mayor Colin Heriot and deputy mayor Michael Tu, apologised for issuing leaflets that did not carry details of the people who printed and/or promoted them.

The other candidtaes were David Wood, Maran Webb, Michael Godfrey, Lornda Monaghan, Wendy Eve and Hugh Wilson.
