Caravan destroyed by fire near Arundel

Firefighters from Arundel and Littlehampton tackled a caravan fire in the early hours of this morning (August 15).

They were called at 1am and were battling the flames until 4.30am.

A spokesman from West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said the mobile home was 100-per-cent destroyed by the flames.

The caravan was in Crossbush Lane, near Arundel, with the spokesman adding the cause of the fire was under investigation.
