Cat rescued from East Grinstead roof after spending night there

A cat was rescued from the roof of an East Grinstead house yesterday (Wednesday February 19) after it’s thought it had spent the night there.

Firefighters were called to the scene, in Victoria Way, at around 10.45am.

They helped an RSPCA officer get the cat down, using specialist ladders.

The rescued animal was then left in the care of its owner and the RSPCA officer.
