Celebration in the grand old style of fetes

MORRIS dancing was just one of the attractions at the Glynde, Beddingham and Firle Flower Show.

With a history going back more than 120 years, it’s a village fete in the grand old style, with flowers galore and competitions for the straightest bean and largest marrow. The Mish Mash Morris dancers went through their paces and further entertainment was provided by the Busking Barbers.

The day also offered a hog roast, beer and tea tents, a bric-a-brac market and a book sale.
