Chance to be on TV

Young people in Bognor Regis are being given the chance to get on tv.

The BBC 48 Hours project will be visiting the town on Saturday, March 24 to host workshops with the Bognor CAN scheme, formerly the Pevensey Project.

The workshops for those aged ten and upwards will take place between 1pm and 4pm at the Bognor Regis Youth and Community Centre in Westloats Lane.

Young people who go along will be able to make short films on their views about Bognor, what they like about the town and what they want to see changed. These films will be edited and put on the BBC website as part of the BBC Southern Counties 48 hours web TV service. Some may be chosen for broadcast.

Carol Fulllick, Bognor CAN's development manager, said: 'This is a great opportunity for young people to participate in a unique workshop.'

Anybody who would like to be involved should contact her on 01243 870406 or 07766 510145.
