Members of the community came together to help clear a fallen tree in Storrington.

The B2139 was blocked by a large tree after Storm Bella hit the area - read more here. A Horsham Police spokesman said in a tweet: "The community came together to assist in the clearing of a large tree to provide access for the local residents.

"There was teas, coffees, soft drinks and even mince pies on offer."

Meanwhile Southern Rail confirmed the railway line between Three Bridges and Horsham has been closed for around 30 minutes due to a fallen tree.

A spokesman said: "Best advice now is to wait for the lines to reopen, trains will run again."
