COMPETITION: Look your best and grab a grand at Fontwell Park

If you're a winner in the fashion stakes, you could scoop £1,000 in cash at Fontwell Park's Ladies' Evening race meeting next Thursday.

That's the prize up for grabs for the winner of the best-dressed lady competition which last year attracted a stunning 250-strong entry. There will also be prizes for all ladies who reach the top ten and the first 200 fillies through the gates will receive a free glass of Pimm's.

The meeting is one of the most popular on the Fontwell racing calendar and with advance ticket bookings 20 per cent ahead on last year, an attendance of around 5,000 is expected.

An added attraction is live music '“ a Take That tribute band will be playing after the racing.

Admission tickets are 17 in advance and 20 on the night.
