Concern for former model

POLICE are becoming increasingly concerned about the welfare of a former model from Kent who often talked of living in Seaford.

Loretta Scott, 41, was a fashion model for magazines throughout her early life. Since suffering emotional problems more recently, she has given up her career.

The last time she was seen at her bedsit in Herne Bay was on July 21. She was officially reported as missing on August 15. Loretta has not been seen since and no money has left her bank account since July 10.

Kent Police have shifted their focus to Sussex after detectives learned Loretta often spoke of living in Seaford or Brighton.

Detective Constable Kerry Stockley, from Canterbury CID, said: Loretta s family are very worried about her. She is vulnerable and we would like to hear from anyone who has seen her or knows where she might be.

Loretta is described as being very attractive, with olive skin, 5ft 11in tall, of slim build. She has long dark hair, dark eyes and often wears velvet clothes.
