Crash driver arrested
A DOG unit was called out in the early hours of Sunday morning after police came across an overturned car with no sign of a driver or passengers.
The car was discovered at the Little Horsted roundabout just outside Uckfield at about 2.30am but then the driver called police from his home address.
The 22-year-old was arrested for being drunk while in control of a motor vehicle and taken to Eastbourne Police Station. He was released later.
The fire service was called to wash petrol and oil from the road.
