Arrests made in Brighton flasher investigation

Sussex Police said it has made two arrests in its investigation into flashing incidents in Brighton.

But officers are appealing for more information about the incidents.

A Sussex Police spokesperson said: “Officers are investigating a man who approached a group of girls and exposed himself to them on September 17 in Preston Park.

“They believe it may be the same man who is suspected of a previous series of indecent exposures in the park in 2016/17.

“One man was arrested on October 10 on suspicion of 16 counts of exposure and has been bailed until November 6.

“Another man was arrested on October 15 on suspicion of 16 counts of public nuisance; indecent exposure. He has been released under investigation.

“The investigation continues.”
