Body found in Eastbourne believed to be missing woman

A body found at Beachy Head earlier today (January 21) is believed to be that of a missing woman Natalie McCallum, from Surrey.

Surrey Police said the discovery was made at around 12.30pm.

Natalie, 42, was reported missing yesterday afternoon (January 20).

A spokesman for Surrey Police said: “Although formal identification is yet to take place, Natalie’s family are aware and being given the appropriate support. Our thoughts remain with them at this difficult time.

“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of her death.

“We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal and assisted with the search.”
