Court results - Horsham

The following are results from Sussex Northern magistrates sitting at Horsham and Crawley.

James Harris, 19, of Henfold Lane, Beare Green, was banned from driving for a year, with a £185 fine, a £20 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to driving at Warninglid with illegal levels of a cannabis metabolite in his blood.

Catherine Miller, 37, of Charrington Way, Broadbridge Heath, was fined £50, with a £20 victim surcharge. She had pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in Horsham, and admitted breaching two conditional discharges.

Benjamin Atkinson, 27, of Sullington Mead, Broadbridge Heath, was fined £660, with £131.25 vehicle excise back duty, and £90 costs. He had been convicted in his absence of using an unlicensed vehicle on a public road at Broadbridge Heath.

David Howell, of Chantry Lane, Storrington, was fined £660, with £140 vehicle excise back duty, and £90 costs. He had been convicted in his absence of keeping an unlicensed vehicle on a public road.

Alessandro Raciti, 29, of Summersby Lane, Ewhurst, was given a two year conditional discharge, with £1,200 compensation, a £15 victim surcharge, and £350 costs. He had pleaded guilty to three counts of fraud by false representation (using a stolen debit card at Horsham).

Lukas Angell, 18, of Sayers Road, Eastleigh, was given a 12 week jail sentence, suspended for a year, with a £50 fine. He had pleaded guilty to five counts of theft (stealing two bikes in Horsham, one in Billingshurst, and three in Crawley), obstructing a police officer at Ifield station, making off without paying for a taxi in Horsham, and failing to answer bail, and admitted breaching a community order.
