Driver arrested after A27 police pursuit ends in crash

Police pursued a stolen car along the A27 into Chichester this morning (Monday, March 15).

Sussex Roads Police officer Pete May said a driver was arrested after the pursuit ended in a crash at the Portfield roundabout.

PC May said: "Stolen car pursued along the A27 into Chichester where the driver crashed and overturned.

"He's been arrested and recovery is en-route.

"Delays A27 westbound on approach to Portfield roundabout and into Chichester."
