Burglars have targeted garages in Eastbourne this month.
Two garages off Maywood Avenue were broken into on October 2 (reported on October 9). The owners found their garage doors had been prized open but fortunately nothing was taken. (Crime reference: 925 09/10)
In the early hours of October 10, a property off Carew Road reported a break in. Owners woke to find their rear patio door was open and personal items including a handbag were missing. (Crime reference: 259 11/10)
